中英文簡歷的不同點

作用不同

對於國有企業或國內的公司、事業單位等,在招聘有明確要求的情況下,英文簡歷通常起到對中文簡歷的補充作用,用來輔助説明你的能力、尤其是英文能力的強弱。

而對於外資企業或外國企業,英文簡歷是求職必備選項。外企HR一般主要看Candidates的英文簡歷,你的所有能力、素質的展示可能就來自於你的英文簡歷。

表達方式不同

英文簡歷應該符合 英語 國家人的習慣,而中文簡歷要符合中國人的閲讀習慣;

側重點不同

英文簡歷的側重點在於Keywords和Action Words。它們最能表現你的素質。

中英文求職簡歷的區別體現

1.個人隱私的體現

英文簡歷通常不體現個人的一些隱私信息,例如:出生日期,性別,婚姻狀況,上任薪金待遇等。這是因為在美國的企業不能在年齡、性別或者種族等因素歧視應聘者,如果發生這類情況,企業主將會被應聘者起訴。國內的簡歷則要求註明這些信息,甚至有的還填寫了身高體重以及期望的薪金待遇,類似於這類的個人隱私如果出現在英文簡歷裏,那僱主會認為你對美國文化理解得不夠地道。

2.篇幅與格式

英文簡歷一般篇幅較短,一頁算是標準篇幅,當然如果你的個人經歷非常豐富,超過一頁也不是不可能,但對於剛出校園的學生,往往一頁是最佳篇幅。而中文簡歷往往可以做成兩頁。大家可以對比一下這兩份簡歷的格式,可以看出英文簡歷非常注重經歷,而中文簡歷卻將學歷放得比較重要。

3.學歷與經歷羅列順序

在美求職時,如果是正在工作的人,簡歷中的experience應該寫在教育背景前,而對於在校生則將教育背景寫在experience之前。英文簡歷一般以倒敍羅列內容,最近的學歷和工作經歷放在最前面,並且學校或者實踐單位大寫並加粗便於招募者迅速識別你的學歷和經歷。如果應聘者正在學習,那最好用candidate for開頭,這樣比較嚴謹。時間羅列在左側或者右側都可以,例如20xx-present。

剛畢業的應聘者都有一個困惑,感覺自己的工作經驗很少,寫不出什麼內容,頁面不夠飽滿,那這裏將特別介紹彌補的方法:

社會工作細節放在工作經歷裏,這樣可以彌補工作經驗少的缺陷。例如,作為某學生組織裏的成員,你組織過什麼活動,參與過什麼事情等都可以一一列出。如果只做了一件事,你也可以儘量分開來寫,例如帶領過多少人,完成了什麼任務,起到什麼作用等,這樣看起來內容就比較豐富了,但記住描述的簡潔是必須要遵從的。

如果你在校內獲獎學金,那就在簡歷上一行填寫一項獎學金。很多學生每年都有,這樣看起來給人的感覺就是學業優秀。
