廬山位於長江邊上，鄱陽湖畔，與魅力城市九江為伴。形成名山、名湖、名江、名城為一體。是典型的亞熱帶濕潤季風氣候，四季分明，素有春如綠、夏如滴。秋如醉、冬如玉之説，由於水汽充足，廬山的自然奇觀很多，“飛流直下三千尺，疑是銀河落九天”説的是廬山雄渾的瀑布，“人間四月芳菲盡，山寺桃花始盛開”説的是廬山的氣候與眾不同，“廬山東南五老峯，青天削出金芙蓉”説的是廬山奇特的地貌，還有有瀑布雲、佛光等自然景觀，由於地殼的變遷，廬山有第四季冰川峽谷，廬山還有很多人文景觀，既有中外別墅羣，又是佛教聖地，吸引着古今中外無數文人墨客，留下了許多千古名句。

現在我們先來説説仙人洞這一風景點，傳説是呂洞賓修道成仙的地方，他天生在懸崖絕壁上，洞內有呂洞賓的塑像，洞內深處有一點泉，洞壁上刻着“天泉洞”和“洞天玉液”，泉水清冽，入口甘甜，據説當年呂洞賓就是飲這泉水而得道。洞前的石壁上長着一顆石松，下面絕壁上刻着“縱覽雲飛”四個大字，毛主席曾寫下“天生一個仙人洞，無限風光在險峯”的詩句。

黃龍潭和烏龍潭，比鄰而居，傳説呂洞賓在這裏制服了兩條龍，一條黃龍，一條烏龍，潭名因此而得，潭水清澈見底，很多遊客在潭裏戲水，流連忘返。

“一方水土養一方人”，靈山秀水藴育很多的特產，“廬山雨霧茶，味濃性潑辣，若得長時飲，延年益壽法”就是朱德總司令對廬山上雲霧茶的讚美，還有石魚、石雞。石耳，聞名遐邇。
