英語三分鐘演講稿 篇2

Beggars are one of the most familiar groups in every city. They accompanyus from our childhood until now, and I've found both the beggars and I change inthis journey.

Years ago as a little girl, when I came across some old and disabledbeggars on the road, I'd donate some pocket money to them, happily thinking Iwas helping.

s I have grown older, I've found the number of beggars has grown larger andthey are more diverse. They appear in every corner of the city, on theoverbridge, on the street, near restaurants, and even at your door. In contrastwith the old days, it seems like the situation with beggars today is morecomplicated, which has made me hesitate before deciding whether to help them ornot.

It's hard for me to give them money considering some who appear beggars inday time but dress up and go to fancy restaurants at night; and some who arecontrolled by some illegal organization and the money they get all goes to theorganization. If I help them, I'd be making the problem worse, I'd be doing harmto the society, indirectly. But it's also hard not to give them money, considering there're real beggars who really need help. If I don't help them, who will? And where is my sympathy?

What hurts me the most is not how hard it is to distinguish the realhelp-seekers from the many false ones, but that some children are forced byadults, sometimes even their parents, to beg. They grow up despised by theworld, out of mainstream society. When I see their eyes filled with desperationand impudence instead of purity and innocence, my heart sinks. We don't know howthey will face the world when they grow up, how this will shape theircharacters, and what they may do to the society, to perpetuate this cycle ofviolence.

Months ago the Fu Jian government has promulgated a new policy to deal with8 kinds of beggars. An internet survey shows that over 80% of voters reactedpositively toward the policy. We know that one single policy cannot solve aproblem as comple_ as this one, but we do look forward to some improvement. Iwish all humanity can live like human.

英語三分鐘演講稿 篇3

THE first time I saw Bao was in 20__, the year when Thomas and Uber Cup washeld. At that time he was playing against Li zongwei, who is also a good playerfrom Malaysia. Bao beat him. To tell the truth, at first the reason why I likedhim was just because I thought he was pretty._maybe it is not a suitable word, but I think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) From thattime, I have focused on him. Then gradually, I found that he not only has goodappearance, but also has a talent for badminton.

He is very tall, about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among all theplayers in the Chinese Badminton Team. In 20__, he is chosen as the flag holderstands for China in the opening ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over thespecial task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. It was agreat honor. And it also proved that Bao was an e_cellent athlete. We are allproud of him.

He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 20__, he wonhis first good medal, which was significant to him, in Guangzhou. Because ofthat, he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who isthe top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good tohim. He seldom beats Lin dan, so he gained a name which is called’千年老二’. Infact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire towin is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he seldom wins thegold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is easygoing and couth;he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody.

So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not inthe best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago, the ChineseBadminton Championship 20__ was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him onSaturday. I was very e_cited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he could hear e is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away, he waved hand tous, how e_cited I was at that time! The ne_t day, he beat Li zongwei again andhe won the man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.
