i love you, china, for i can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. last year, i got an opportunity to visit the united states of america. during my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. while at table, he looked at me and asked: “little boy, how long have you been in america?” “about a month,” i answered, “how lucky you are!” he said, “if you were living in china, how could you learn such perfect english?” i smiled and told him proudly that all the students in china are able to learn english at school. i saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “i’m proud of you, china. for you are offering us the best education.”

when i came back from the usa, my friends asked me: “how do you feel about your staying there?” “wonderful” i said. “then why do you come back?” hearing this, i told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—china. how true the saying is: “there’s no place like home!”

when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.

i had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times," honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep." i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.

nevertheless, things just happened in a casual way. when i caught a high fever again when young, mum had to send for the doctor home to treat me. i was so sick that i became quite drowsy and then slept. when i suddenly woke up in the afternoon, i found the liquid in the bottle had already flown over ,while mum and dad were not around. i yelled, but finally found it was of no use. so i jumped out of the bed and pulled up the tubule. in the nature of things, the blood came out and dropped along the way i went downstairs. things became different at the time i went down alone. i discovered that i could be independent. i was much stronger than i had thought. looking back on the girl who cried all day, i came to understand suddenly that the strong part of the inner myself had been existing all the time. seeing the anxious mum, i revealed a big smile to her. i could see that mum was trying to hold her tears back and scrubbed my blood on the hand. she didn't know that her little girl had stealthily grown up.

Low-carbon lifestyle covers many aspect of our life like transportation, traveling, home-heating, and so on. In order to promote a low-carbon life, some plans must be carried out as follows. Firstly, don’t waste any electricity and water. Remember to turn off the lights and water taps unless we use them. Secondly, we had better take the subways or bus to work, so as to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide. Thirdly, we should use cloth bags for shopping instead of plastic bags, and use recyclable bowls and chopsticks instead of disposable ones, for it can not only save resources, but also reduce pollution. in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."

In order to be successful we must be willing to take some risks, so having self-confidence is very important. Another reason is that a confident person rarely gives up. When he fails he tries again and again until he wins. A final reason is that confident people are not afraid to show off their achievements. This is not to say that they should brag, but that they should gracefully and confidently accept the compliments of others. When their achievements are noticed more by others at school or work, they are more likely to succeed.

In short, I believe self-confidence to be the most important factor in success. It enables people to take risks, try again when they fail, and enjoy their accomplishments when they win. With these abilities, a confident person can succeed easily at school or work.

促成一個人成功的因素有很多。不論是念書或工作，如果可以努力、誠實、聰明、負責任等，就比較有可能成功。但在所有可能影響成功與否的特點中，基於下列理由，我認為自信最重要。

We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.

The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. 同學們：

俗話説：“笑一笑，十年少”。其實，微笑不僅能讓你年輕，還是一座溝通人際關係的橋樑，一劑化解人們矛盾的良藥。

你聽説過關於日本原一平先生的故事嗎?

原一平本是一位極其普通平凡的保險推銷員，他相貌平平，身高只有158釐米，但是，他為什麼能成為日本家喻户曉，婦孺皆知的名人呢?正是因為他有事沒事就研究微笑，對着一面隨身攜帶的小鏡子練習，並把這些微笑應用到工作中去，才走向了成功，成為鼎鼎有名的人。

原一平在工作中，在生活中，一共研究出了39種微笑，並且自己也將這39種微笑練得非常自然。有的微笑能讓人感到温暖，有的微笑能讓人感到親切，有的微笑能帶給人們力量，有的微笑能讓煩躁不安的人立刻安靜下來，有的微笑能讓你不由自主地去聆聽。

正是他的微笑，才讓人樂意購買他推銷的保險，認為他推銷的保險有百利而無一害;正是他的微笑，讓客户與他成為無話不談、無事不説的知心朋友。

的確，微笑能溝通人的心靈，把彼此間的距離拉近，甚至幫助你走向成功。

記得一次去醫院看病，我坐在椅子上排隊等待，一個男的對着護士説：“你們這是怎麼搞的?醫生約了我上午9點整來，你自己看看都已經9點40分了。”我本以為護士肯定會以牙還牙，然後兩人會大動干戈，誰知，護士卻微笑着對那個男的説：“先生，實在很抱歉，人太多了，我進去幫您看看，也催一下。請您稍等。”過了一會兒，只看見那個護土微笑着説：“先生，到您了，請進去。”我不禁佩服起這個護士來，過了一會兒，那個男的出來了，他找到剛才一直對他微笑的護土，誠懇地説：“剛才實在對不起，請原諒。”護士依舊微笑着説：“沒關係的。”

可見，微笑有時候還能化干戈為玉帛。

每天你給別人一個真誠的微笑，別人也會給你一個微笑。

微笑能讓別人對你所懷的顧慮在一瞬間消失;微笑能讓你與別人的關係融洽;微笑是溝通彼此心靈的無聲語言。既然如此，那麼，朋友，就請大方起來，請別吝嗇你的微笑。

什麼是朋友?誰是你最好的朋友?你瞭解他(她)嗎? 在千萬年之中，在時間的無邊荒野裏，沒有早一步，也沒有晚一步，剛巧趕上;於千萬人之中，你遇見了你所遇見的人，他(她)也許就是你的朋友。 人生短短几十年，不要給自己留下什麼遺憾才好。想笑的時候就笑，想哭的時候就哭，把不盡人意，不順心的事一次性、乾乾淨淨的發泄出來，但不快樂、傷心、難過全都只是過程，惟有快樂才是終點，千萬不要把世事都看得太完美! 如果朋友讓你生氣，那隻能説明你還在意你們之間的感情，也許他(她)就是你最好的朋友，為什麼不把心放寬點呢? 知道嗎?什麼是益友?什麼是損友? 我認為益友就是為了朋友兩肋插刀的人，當然具體情況又具體分析，為什麼事而兩肋插刀有是另一回事了;而損友就是你為了他(她)兩肋插刀，而(她)卻反過來捅你兩刀!! 其實，我們活得很艱難。確實，我們既要承受種種來自外部的壓力，又要面對自己內心的困惑。在苦苦掙扎中，如果有人向你伸出援助之手，投以理解的目光(而這個人就是你的益友)，你就會感到一種來自原始生命的暖意。 有些事情我們無法控制，所以我們只好控制自己。雖然有些人很可惡，有些人很卑鄙，但當我們設身處地的為他們着想時，才知道，他們其實比我們還可憐，所以，請原諒你恨過的人，原諒那些壞人，所謂的好人! 生活中，不斷有人離開或出現，而我也即將離開這個舞台，於是，看見的，看不見了;記住的，遺忘了;生活中也不斷有得到和失落，於是，看不見，看見了;遺忘的，記住了。它們就這樣交替着，更改着，不知疲倦。 然而，看不見的，是不是就等於不存在呢? 記住了的，是不是就代表永遠不會消失? 而我們是不是應該記住該記住的，遺忘該遺忘的，改變能改變的，接受不能改變的呢? 我不知道我現在做的哪些是對的，哪些又是錯的，所以我現在能做的就是盡力做好每一件事。 能沖刷一切的除了眼淚就是時間。 最好我告訴大家一個心得體會：同學只有1年或2年，最多3年，而朋友有一輩子!!!

沒有人能只依靠天分成功。上帝給予了天分，勤奮將天分變為天才。有這麼一句話：天才是百分之一的天分加上百分之九十九的努力。。

曾國藩是中國歷史上最有影響的人物之一，然他小時候的天賦卻不高。有一天在家讀書，對一篇文章重複不知道多少遍了，還在朗讀，因為，他還沒有背下來。這時候他家來了一個賊，潛伏在他的屋檐下，希望等讀書人睡覺之後撈點好處。可是這個賊等了好久，就是沒等到曾國藩睡覺，還是翻來覆去地讀那篇文章。賊人大怒，跳出來説，“這種水平讀什麼書?”然後將那文章背誦一遍，揚長而去!

賊人是很聰明，至少比曾先生要聰明，但是他只能成為賊，而曾先生卻成為毛澤東主席都欽佩的人：“近代最有大本夫源的人。”

“勤能補拙是良訓，一分辛苦一分才。”那賊的記憶力真好，聽過幾遍的文章都能背下來，而且很勇敢，見別人不睡覺居然可以跳出來“大怒”，教訓曾先生之後，還要背書，揚長而去。但是遺憾的是，他名不經傳，曾先生後來啟用了一大批人才，按説這位賊人與曾先生有一面之交，大可去施展一二，可惜，他的天賦沒有加上勤奮，變得不知所終。

從這個故事我們可以看出，偉大的成功和辛勤的勞動是成正比的，有一分勞動就有一分收穫，日積月累，從少到多，奇蹟就可以創造出來。

許多的事情，總是在經歷過以後才會懂得。一如感情，痛過了，才會懂得如何保護自己;傻過了，才會懂得適時的堅持與放棄，在得到與失去中我們慢慢地認識自己。其實，生活並不需要這麼些無謂的執着，沒有什麼就真的不能割捨。學會放棄，生活會更容易。

學會放棄，在落淚以前轉身離去，留下簡單的背影;學會放棄，將昨天埋在心底，留下最美好的回憶;學會放棄，讓彼此都能有個更輕鬆的開始，遍體鱗傷的愛並不一定就刻骨銘心。這一程情深緣淺，走到今天，已經不容易，輕輕地抽出手，説聲再見，真的很感謝，這一路上有你。曾説過愛你的，今天，仍是愛你。只是，愛你，卻不能與你在一起。一如愛那原野的火苗，愛它，卻不能攜它歸去。

每一份感情都很美，每一程相伴也都令人迷醉。是不能擁有的遺憾讓我們更感縫眷;是夜半無眠的思念讓我們更覺留戀。感情是一份沒有答案的問卷，苦苦的追尋並不能讓生活更圓滿。也許一點遺憾，一絲傷感，會讓這份答卷更雋永，也更久遠。

收拾起心情，繼續走吧，錯過花，你將收穫雨;錯過她，我才遇到了你。繼續走吧，你終將收穫自己的美麗。一個永遠不想失去你的人，未必是愛你的人，未必對你忠心耿耿，有時只是這種腦袋不清的強烈佔有慾者，他們才會做出各種“損人不利己”的事情，還如此理所當然。在心中如果有“曾經擁有就永遠不要失去”的偏執狂與佔有慾，越想要獲得愛的永久保證書，只會越走越偏離。

誰説喜歡一樣東西就一定要得到它。有時候，有些人，為了得到他喜歡的東西，殫精竭慮，費盡心機，更甚者可能會不擇手段，以至走向極端。也許他得到了他喜歡的東西，但是在他追逐的過程中，失去的東西也無法計算，他付出的代價是其得到的東西所無法彌補的。也許那代價是沉重的，直到最後才會被他發現罷了。其實喜歡一樣東西，不一定要得到它。

有時候為了強求一樣東西而令自己的身心都疲憊不堪，是很不划算的。再者，有些東西是“只可遠觀而不可近瞧的”，一旦你得到了它，日子一久你可能會發現其實它並不如想象中的那麼好。如果你再發現你失去的和放棄的東西更珍貴的時候，我想你一定會懊惱不已。所以也常有這樣的一句話“得不到的東西永遠是最好的。”所以當你喜歡一樣東西時，得到它並不是你最明智的選擇。

誰説喜歡一個人就一定要和他在一起。有時候，有些人，為了能和自己喜歡的人在一起，他們不惜使用“一哭二鬧三上吊”這種最原始的辦法，想以此挽留愛人。也許這留住了愛人的人，但是這卻留不住他的心。更有甚至，為了這而賠上了自己那年輕而又燦爛的生命，可能這會喚起愛人的迴應吧，但是這也帶給了他更多的內疚與自責，還有不安，從此快樂就會和他揮手告別。其實喜歡一個人，並不一定要和他在一起，所以有人常説“不在乎天長地久，只在乎曾經擁有”，在一起的人並不一定都會快樂。喜歡一個，最重要的是讓他快樂，因為他的喜怒哀樂都會牽動你的心緒。所以也有這樣一句話“你快樂，所以我快樂。”因此，當你喜歡一個人時，暗戀也不失為上策。

有一首歌這樣唱：“原來暗戀也很快樂，至少不會毫無選擇;”“為何從不覺得感情的事多難負荷，不想佔有就不會太坎坷”;“不管你的心是誰的，我也不會受到挫折，只想做個安靜的過客。”所以，無論是喜歡一樣的東西也好，喜歡一個人也罷，與其讓自己負累，還不如放輕鬆地面對，即使有一天放棄或者離開，你也學會了平靜。

喜歡一樣東西，就要學會欣賞它，珍惜它，使它更彌足珍貴。

喜歡一個人，就要讓他快樂，讓他幸福，使那份感情更誠摯。如果你做不到，那你還是放手吧，所以有時候，有些人，也要學會放棄，因為放棄也是一種美麗。

尊敬的領導、老師，親愛的同學們：

大家好!

今天十分榮幸可以由我來為大家進行課前三分鐘的演講。

首先，我要給大家分享一句話。“我寧願選擇驕傲也不選擇自卑。因為驕傲需要資本，資本需要積累，積累需要汗水，而自卑卻什麼也不需要。”這句話是我在看喬松樓將軍在復旦大學演講視頻時偶然間聽到的。

是的，今天我演講的主題就是自信。

每個人的人生都並非一帆風順，並非永無波浪的湖面。而是一場充滿艱辛，坎坷，曲折，充滿挑戰與挫折的旅途。屬於我們的每一個新的一天都是一次挑戰。在迎接每日的朝陽時，我們需要足夠的自信來克服遇到的困難。

愛因斯坦的“相對論”發表之後，有人曾炮製了一本《百人駁相對論》，網羅了一批所謂名流對這一理論進行聲勢浩大的撻伐。可是，愛因斯坦自信自己的理論必然勝利，對噠伐不屑一顧。他説：“假如我的理論是錯的，一個人反駁就夠了，一百個零加起來還是零。”他堅定了必勝的信念，堅持研究，終於使“相對論”成為20世紀的偉大理論，為世人所矚目。

同學們，或許我們無法成為像愛因斯坦一樣成為為社會做出極大貢獻的人。但我們依舊應該向他一樣自信的面對一切，面對困難，面對挫折。

居里夫人説過：“我們應該有恆心，尤其要有自信心!我們必須相信，我們的天賦是要用來做某種事情的，無論發生什麼事情，活着的人總要照常工作。”正是自信，支持她在經受了失戀、喪夫、社會上的流言蜚語等打擊之後，兩次榮獲了諾貝爾獎，為人類的科學事業做出了巨大的貢獻。

我堅信，自信是一種力量，一種引領我們堅持的力量。無論身處順境，還是逆境，都應該微笑地，平靜地面對人生，有了自信，生活便有了希望。“天生我材必有用”，哪怕命運之神一次次把我們捉弄，只要擁有自信，擁有一顆自強不息、積極向上的心，成功遲早會屬於你的。

同學們，高中三年必定是一段崢嶸歲月。希望從今天開始，從現在開始，我們都可以把汗水的積累轉化為驕傲，自信的資本。以捨我其誰也的雄心壯志面對我們應該面對的每一次考驗。 讓我們的高中生活成為人生光彩絢麗的回憶。
