端午是傳統節日，在莆田就有這麼一首不和諧的童謠，五月七年級便拉開了端午節的序幕。從七年級開始，家家户户都開始忙碌起來，準備端午節的用品，雖然不是很多，其中最讓人眼饞的自然要屬端午中的美食了。

一提端午節，最先想到的應該就是粽子了。粽子長得玲瓏可愛，有鹹味的和甜味的。我對於肉粽子不感興趣，卻對糯米粽情有獨鍾，尤其是裏面大大的棗子，家裏自己做的總是包的大大的。糯米的濃香夾雜着縷縷蛋草葉子的清香沁人心脾，咬一口，含在嘴裏，越嚼越有滋味。逢過端午，奶奶動要包上N個粽子讓我這隻饞貓大飽口服。街上也有到處吆喝的，不過賣的粽子比家裏的要小很多，卻很貴，糯米粽裏的棗子也不大，貌似插倆花生大的就了事了。有時嘴饞了，就道街邊買一個解饞，卻再也沒有那種餘香了。
