在高中的時候,有聽説過“志願者”這個名詞,但對它真正的含義並不是很理解。進入大學以後,我第一次明白原先各個高校都有志願者這個隊伍。大一時由於某種原因,沒有到志願者那兒報名參加面試,有點兒遺憾。隨着對志願者的深入瞭解,我對自我説,怎們樣也得在大學四年當一下志願者,為社會服務。於是,在大一開學初,我就去報了名。

我明白志願者所表述的是“奉獻、友愛、互助、提高”的精神。志願者所做的,其實會在我們生活中不經意的流露出來。

志願者好像一盞燈,燈光亮一些,我們身邊的黑暗就會少一些。志願者就是扶貧濟困,助人為樂的代名詞,它傳遞了愛心,傳播了禮貌,這種愛心與禮貌,其實離我們很近很近,近的觸手可及。

志願者所傳遞的那份愛心,從一個人身上傳到另一個人身上,最終匯聚成一股強大的社會暖流,它供給了社交和互助幫忙的機會,加強了人與人之間的交往和關懷,減低彼此間的疏遠感,促進了社會的和諧。

我們系志願隊每週四午時都會利用沒上課的時間去看望一位年過八旬的老人,幫她整理整理東西,打打水,聊聊天等。這一次,我也參加了這個活動。我們來到前進社區一幢居民樓,打開一扇大門,走了進來,我跟着熟門熟路的領隊走了進去。領隊敲響老人的門,過了好一會兒都沒人應門,我們怕老人出現什麼問題,就在門外一向喊,過了一會兒,我們聽到了腳步聲。那扇我期待已久的小門最終打開了,出來一位走路蹣跚的老人,一眼就能夠看出來年紀已經很大了,可是,令人比欣慰的是老人看過去身體還算健康,可是可能是每個老人都會有的,就是耳朵很不好使,所以剛才一向沒聽到我們的敲門聲。領隊給我們分了工,老人忙着挪出幾張椅子過來,打算給我每個剩餘的人坐,她拉住我們的手,示意我們坐下。她似乎有好多好多話要跟我們述説,她似乎異常喜歡我們,給我的感覺是她好像每週都在盼望我們每個人的到來。

老人拉着我們的手滔滔不絕地述説開來。她講了她的生活,她的家庭。從談話中我模糊地明白老人在這六十年裏,都是孤孤單單一個人,她的兒女拋棄了她,她住的房間還是政府借給他的,每月靠的是政府給予的補貼來維持生計的。老人一向在不停的表達着對我們的感激,她説要不是我們,她都不明白該怎樣辦。可是,我明白老人最需要的還不僅僅是生活上的幫忙,老人很孤單,需要有一個傾聽的對象,能夠聽聽她的心裏話、能聽聽她的嘮叨、聽聽她述説生活上的一些瑣碎的事情,這樣她就十分滿足了。所以在整個過程中,老人都是十分高興的,除了談到她的家庭。

傾聽是心靈之花,傾聽能折射出純潔的熱情的光芒。傾聽時一縷清風,它能吹撒籠罩在們心頭的陰霾;傾聽時劃破漆黑夜幕的流星,能給我們帶來期望;傾聽是一朵不敗的花,它能綻放出生命之蕊,換取人們的欣賞和信任。

所以,當我麼在傾聽老人的述説的過程中,老人多她的孤單找到了一種寄託,有了生活下來的力量。衷心地祝福老人健健康康的,我們一屆屆的大學生志願者給她帶去歡樂。

這是我對這次活動最大的感觸。我也相信,我們每個人肯邁出一小步,我發現,志願者所有的精神就是一種力量,就好像奧運火炬傳遞一樣,在每個人的手中傳遞,同時也能匯聚所有人的熱情,共同促進社會提高做出貢獻。
